Night hunting predators has taken a turn for the better as some states have begun allowing night hunting for predators. Some states require special permits while others have such a problem that they have allowed predator hunting like coyote hunting , hog hunting at night with lights.

The problem in the past has been that night vision equipment has been extremely expensive. For the majority of predator hunters the high dollar cost of night vision equipment has been beyond their reach.

The new LED hunting lights like the Assassinator Hunting Lights can be mounted to the gun barrel or scope and are very light. They have a range of 250 -300 yards and are much brighter than any light of the past. Some hunters have reported picking up the glow of a coyote eyes out to 400 yards.
